Cultural, moral and philosphical roots of anti-speciesism are a natural evolution of social struggles for the emancipation of the weakest among Humans and the recognition of their fundamental rights (…). An anti-speciesist person, then, not only struggles for the elimination of discrimination caused by the barriers dividing species that Humans built (…), but also recognize as a basic issue the recognition of every Human rights, regardless of sex, sexual orientation, physical and mental conditions, class, ethnic origin, nationality etc. (…) Anti-speciesism should be considered a natural evolution (not a derivation) of antiracist, antisexist, antimilitarist thought.
